GST is an EU-funded Integrated Project that is creating an open and standardized end-to-end architecture for automotive telematics services.
The purpose of GST is to create an environment in which innovative telematics services can be developed and delivered cost-effectively, and hence to increase the range of economic telematics services available to manufacturers and consumers.

Focused on creating a Global System for Telematics (GST) enabling on-line safety services, the EU-supported GST Integrated Project held its final workshop in La Hulpe, Belgium, 27-28 February 2007 to present and showcase its results. The successful workshop, which was the closing event of the project, was designed to disseminate ideas on how to further develop telematics according to the GST standards. Read more  |

| On 27-28 February 2007, the EC-supported, ERTICO – ITS Europe-coordinated “Global System for Telematics” Integrated Project (GST) held its final workshop in Brussels to present and showcase its results. The two-day event took place in the four-star Dolce Conference Centre in La Hulpe, just outside Brussels, and featured an extensive set of presentations and demonstrations of the GST achievements.
